Recovery

At times teens make poor decisions that result in the use of alcohol, prescription drugs, or street drugs.  These decisions do not make the young man a “bad” kid; they are simply bad decisions made by good kids.  However, this behavior does not lead to success and must be changed if a young man is to achieve his potential.

The Substance Education Program’s seminars and meetings provide an environment and community that make it easier to stay sober than the typical high-school setting.  Students are required to participate fully and honestly, learning everything they can, while supporting fellow students and getting the support that they need.

How is this done?

There are several components to St. Paul’s Substance Education Program.  They include:

  • Group Seminars
  • Weekly 12-Step Meetings
  • Individual Counseling
  • Drug Testing

All of this is accomplished in a structured, supportive environment allowing each young man the opportunity to discover the path to success through sober living.
