Student Life
Life for students of St. Paul's is more than academics. To become a well-rounded person, the young men are involved in opportunities to enhance personal growth. The dormitories are former ranch style homes, that sit on 5 acres, and allow students the opportunity for home-like living when they are not in school.
Students rise at 6 a.m. and begin school at 8. The school day ends at 3p.m. Day students are encouraged to remain on campus to participate in all after school activities. Until dinner at 5:00 p.m., students participate in a physical activity or receive additional tutoring services. After dinner, all students participate in structured recreation, individual counseling, group counseling, supervised study hall, and a brief amount of leisure time. Lights are out at 10.
Weekends are structured at St. Paul’s to provide students with a variety of cultural, educational, social, and recreational opportunities. Weekend trips are offered to hike, camp, ski, and fish. School dances, horseback riding, and barbecues are arranged with a nearby girls’ schools. Many off-campus extracurricular activities, such as golf, movies, and trips to water parks and professional sporting events, are arranged. Certain off-campus activities are made available to those who have earned them through their advancement in the degree system.
