Academics

St. Paul's Academy offers a challenging curriculum that stresses the humanities and the cultivation of creativity, the formation of critical thinking skills, sound mental habits, and eloquence. St. Paul's helps students to achieve high standards of academic performance through academic skills assessment and remediation by our learning specialist; the accommodation of learning differences; small class sizes, with an average of 5 students; academic coaching, provided through one-on-one tutoring with our teachers and learning specialist; and a highly qualified and dedicated faculty. Because of the quality and experience of the faculty and the careful organization of time set aside for personal instruction and guidance, each student will find a superior academic program at St. Paul's.  The Academy operates on a 12 month, one-course-at-a time block schedule that minimizes problems of attention and executive functioning while maximizing the benefits of its open enrollment policy; students may enroll at any time and begin earning credit immediately.

One-hundred percent of St. Paul's graduating seniors have been accepted into college.  Thus, St. Paul’s Academy's graduation requirements are based on the entrance requirements of the State University System in Arizona and closely parallel the admission requirements of most colleges and universities throughout the United States.  A graduation plan is established for each student upon enrollment and is followed throughout his tenure at the Academy.
