Counseling/Recovery
We live in a confusing, difficult, and sometimes dangerous society where the pitfalls are many and the challenges to teenagers are great. At St. Paul’s, we recognize that all students can experience difficulties from time to time, some for longer periods, some much more serious than others. Our students have the same difficulties as students everywhere else: low self-confidence, learning difficulties, peer-social difficulties, and parent-child issues, just to name a few. The Academy provides qualified counselors who are able to help students navigate through these difficulties. We don't just talk about the problem; we address each student's issues, and help students to overcome and learn from them.
St. Paul's counselors provide individual and group counseling for all students. Students are required to participate in a variety of group seminars, such as: substance prevention, self awareness and self esteem, group processing, conflict resolution, making good choices, sexual education, building healthy relationships, anger management, character education, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Team Building and Group Dynamics, understanding social cues, substance education, and others.
At St. Paul’s, we help students overcome the hurdles that are in front of them so they can achieve the greatness that awaits.
